  • Academic and Life Skills (ALIS)http://dos.ku.edu.tr/tr/ALISALIS is a unique program born out of the need to prepare students for the college life and beyond. All KU students have to take this course and pass it before continuing in their degree program. It is an experiential course with lots of activities and self-reflexive exercises.I am the founder of ALIS in 2010; I am also the Academic Director of the program
  • Engelsiz Show (No-Disability Show)I initiated this project in 2002 to raise awareness in college students about the fact that disability does not mean ‘lack of ability’. Every year I invite extraordinary individuals with disabilities to our campus and let them interact with our students (i.e., future leaders in organizations and society) in a lively and fun show! The moderators of the ‘show’ have been celebrities in Turkey. Some students come to the show just to see those celebrities, but they leave the show being ‘enlightened’ about disabled individuals. The show idea has been suggested by my dear friend Serkan Erol who has supports it in any way possible. Engelsiz Show has been organized in collaboration with KU Gönüllüleri team (Koc University Volunteers)
